The last 12 months have been, without a doubt, the happiest and most succesful in the life of Sarah Connor. Professionally, she confirmed, once again, her position as the most succesful female German artist in the country, as well as abroad: the two single-releases, Music Is The Key, and Just One Last Dance, from her gold-album Key To My Soul, each shot directly to the top of the German single-charts, shifting 150,000 units apiece and scoring gold.
Internationally she excelled in, amongst other countries, the U.S.A. (single, Bounce: #11airplay top 40 mainstream), the U.K.(single, Bounce:#14 single-charts), Australia (single, Bounce:gold & #14 ARIA charts) and Japan (album, Bounce: #12 intl. artists charts) and was therefore honored on September 15th in Las Vegas with the World Music Award for the most successful German artist abroad.
After barely a year of maternity leave, Sarah is reporting back with a new single: Living To Love You ( to be released 11-08-04), a moving ballad penned by the successful producers Rob Tyger & Kay Denar, creators of her first No.1 hit From Sarah With Love. Living To Love You is the first single-release from Sarah's fourth album, which will be coming out soon.
In addition to to the single-version and various mixes of Living To Love You , the CD will be offering numerous features. Thus the song Change, which has so far only been available through the click of the mouse, and which immediately claimed No.1 at the rtl.musicload.de, will be included with the single. There is also a special CD-Extra, which will feature song lyrics and a personal greeting from Sarah herself. In addition, Living To Love You will be available in the extremely affordable pock-it! format.
The elaborate video for Living To Love You was filmed in early October in a picturesque castle, and will be presented, starting November, on all music channels.
Whoever wants to experience Sarah Connor performing her new single live on TV will get plenty of opportunities: on 11-07-04 she will be (amongst other appearances) a guest of Kai Pflaume's "Nur die Liebe zählt"
