More Information
For Sarah Connor, things got off to a fast start in 2005. With From Zero To Hero, her soundtrack contribution to the box office hit Robots, and her album Naughty But Nice, she had two chart-topping records on her hands. Her fifth consecutive #1 hit reaffirms her status as Germany’s most successful singer – within Germany and throughout the world!
Following her sold-out Naughty But Nice tour, Sarah surprised her fans at the end of the year with a special musical treat. She released her own personal Christmas album. Fans were enchanted and the album moved more than 100,000 units in just three weeks – Gold!
in 2006, Sarah felt the need to slow down her pace a bit. She retreated from show business and devoted herself fully to her family and the birth of her daughter Summer.
“My family is the most important thing to me!” states Sarah emphatically.
After a break of several months, Sarah Connor has returned with her next musical oeuvre. Her brand new single, The Best Side Of Life released on 24 November, is an emotional ballad and the perfect soundtrack for a reflective holiday season.
But The Best Side Of Life has much more in store. Early this December, the Coca-Cola Christmas trucks will herald the arrival of the Yuletide season with a new musical offering: Sarah Connor! Her new song will accompany the trucks on their tour through Germany and in TV ads.
Here, Sarah is following in the footsteps of her late friend and colleague Melanie Thornton, whose song Wonderful Dream (Holidays Are Coming) was used for nearly five years as the musical backdrop for the Coca Cola Christmas trucks as they journeyed through wintry landscapes.
The Best Side Of Life is available as a deluxe edition and contains two additional audio tracks A Ride In The Snow and Why Does It Rain, as well as an extra CD-ROM data section with a video clip, wallpaper for your computer screen and an online contest.
