More Information
Although Sarah Connor treated herself to a year of rest & family time, it's as if she was never gone. Right with her first single after the hiatus, Living To Love You,
she achieved a musical hat trick and jumped, following Music Is The Key and Just One Last Dance, for the third time in a row to the No 1 spot of the German single-charts. A master-stroke which hasn't been achieved since the eighties!
So it's no surprise that Sarah Connor's follow-up single has the title From Zero To Hero (Release date: 03/07/05). And of course with this song also Sarah is going full speed ahead: From Zero To Hero is the title theme of Red Nose Day 2005 as well as the title song of the new creation from the creators of ICE AGE: ROBOTS (movie start: March17, 2005)! And since Sarah fell instantly in love with the tiny robots, she lends her voice to the female lead Cappy in the German version.
"At the voice rehearsals my heart was pounding, because after all I was doing this for the first time!
I'm super -proud that I was asked to speak Cappy's part. In the American original Halle Berry takes on the role," recalls Sarah Connor, about the work in the dubbing studio. "The work was a big challenge for me, because when you're dubbing you almost have to act. You cry and laugh with the character, really slip into it…"
With Naughty But Nice Sarah Connor now presents her fourth album. Emotionally, she feels even more connected to this one than to its three predecessors, because this time she was able to bring much more of herself into the composition and content. Sarah opens up to the listener in a very special way. The songs on Naughty But Nice relate situations and stories from out of her life, describing people who are close to her.
Naughty But Nice captivates through uptempo numbers and intense passages of soul; also, this time guitar riffs step further into the foreground. All of the songs are enhanced by Sarah's unique voice, giving them a very special edge.
